“Today, there is a famous restaurant on the southeast corner of bakuo street, which is called ma-skyes-a-ma", which means "girl". The outer wall of the restaurant is painted yellow, so it has another more famous name "yellow house". The reason why this place is famous is that it is said that the Sixth Dalai Lama cangyang Jiacuo often changed into casual clothes to drink and sing poems and meet his lover after night. The most famous love song of cangyang Jiacuo was written here:
From the top of the mountain in the East
The bright white moon came out
An unborn mother's face
In the heart has gradually appeared ~
This poem is the most faithful of all cangyang Jiacuo love songs so far. "Unborn mother" is a literal translation of the Tibetan word ma-skyes-a-ma, which roughly means "Maiden" in Chinese. However, some ingenious descendants transliterated ma-skyes-a-ma into majiami, saying that it was the name of a lover of cangyang Jiacuo, and thus created some romantic love stories. The word "ma-skyes-a-ma" does not refer to "a mother who has never given birth" or "a girl", but describes a lover's kindness to herself as a mother - although she has not given birth to herself.
“ Her inspiration for her work is based on the emotional and psychological sufferings of women, the initial blow, the shattering of the known life, and the resilience to place the pieces back together in a new way. Her medium of expression is in the way common materials are used but focuses on the arrangement to shine a different light. This unique hue of expression permeated in her work is the result of her experiences of her life in Seoul and Toronto and also many years in Italy.”
The whole series of " Ru Meng Ling " contains five works, in different light and color environment, depicts the different states of industrial glass products, creating different atmosphere and aesthetic feeling. Warm, elegant, sweet, crisp and broken, the integration of traditional painting and industrial glass products is not against each other. As the theme, glass adds a hint of "clarity and lucency" to the whole work. In the light and shadow created by the artists, the atmosphere of the space is flowing and quiet, tranquil and gentle without losing the atmosphere, which makes people involuntarily detached from the daily life and immersed in the perception of nature and fantasy.
